How to Grow it

Cultivating fruit is currently a fairly popular activity in the community.  One of the fruits that is easy to grow and cultivate here is pomegranate.  How to grow pomegranate was actually not so difficult.

In addition, this fruit is also rich in vitamins, especially vitamin C. Likewise, calcium, iron, and potassium.  Since this is a healthy fruit, if you enjoy growing plants, you can start growing this fruit.  For a guide, you can see in the following review.

Prepare the Pomegranate Seeds First

Planting pomegranates can be done with the seeds.  You can also get the seeds of this fruit directly from the fruit that is widely sold in the market.  So, look for the pomegranate first, and take the seeds.  After that, you need to clean the seeds of the fruit gently with a tissue.

Make sure all the flesh of the fruit is clean from the seeds before further processing.  If the seeds are clean, you can immediately dry them.  This drying can be done for several days.  If it is dry, then the seeds are ready to be planted.

Do Pomegranate Seed Planting

To plant the seeds of this fruit, you can directly use the pot.  It doesn't need to be too big, because planting seeds aims to grow the seeds.  Later, the seeds will be moved again when the time is right.

How to plant pomegranate from seeds can be done at a depth of at least 0.5 cm from the soil surface.  If you have made sure the distance is appropriate, you can immediately pile it up slowly.  However, try not to go too deep either, to make it easier for the seeds to grow.

Take good care of these prospective plant seeds

Before growing into seeds, these seeds that have been planted must be treated as well as possible.  First, what you definitely have to pay attention to is the planting medium or the soil.

Make sure the soil is kept moist.  That way, the seeds will get sufficient water intake and can grow quickly.  However, not too much too if you want to water it.

In addition to water and soil problems, don't forget to put this pot of pomegranate seeds in the right place.  The most important thing is, the pot gets enough sunlight.

You can put it on the window of the house, or outside the house as well.  Without enough sunlight, the seeds won't grow, and that means your nursery will fail.

When It Has Grown And Its Height Is Enough, Move It Immediately

As mentioned earlier, you will need to transfer this plant to a larger growing medium once the seeds have sprouted, and are growing well.  You can choose between planting media in the form of pots or soil.

Most importantly, the condition of the soil and the location of the pomegranate placement is still as it should be.  You just need to make sure the planting medium is moist, contains enough water, and the plants remain exposed to sunlight.

This will allow it to grow properly.  However, try not to move them when they are too small, as this may risk killing them because the roots are still weak.

Wait for the Pomegranate to Fruit

How to plant pomegranate has been completed in several stages above.  Now is the time for you to wait for the pomegranate to bear fruit.  However, the process will certainly not be fast.  The pomegranate tree has to be bigger first, really enough nutrition, and then it can bear fruit.

In addition, you need to understand that the pomegranate found in the market is generally a hybrid type of pomegranate.  Thus, usually when you plant the seeds, the fruit will likely not be the same as the first one you bought.
