Bay Tree for Medication: Directions for Use and Growing it

Bay tree is efficacious to treat diarrhea, ulcers, diabetes, drunkenness due to alcohol.

The parts used are leaves, bark, stems, roots and fruit.

Directions for Use

1. Diarrhea

Prepare 15 grams of bay leaves, wash thoroughly and then boil with 1 cup of clean water for 15 minutes.  Add a little salt.  Once cool then strain and drink.

2. Diabetes

Take 7 bay leaves and wash them thoroughly then boilwith 3 cups of clean water until the remaining 1 cup.  After chilling, strain, divide for 2 times to drink.

3. Stomach pain

Take 15 to 20 bay leaves, wash, boil with half a liter of water until it boils.  Add brown sugar to taste.  Drink as tea every day until the feeling of fullness and pain in the stomach disappears.

4. Drunk alcohol

Take one handful of ripe bay fruit, wash and then mash until smooth.  Squeeze and strain then drink.

5. Scabies

Leaves, bark, stems or roots wash clean and then grind finely until it becomes a dough like mush.  Apply it on the part of the body that has scabies. You can also cure scabies using jatropha.

Media Preparation

The materials needed for the manufacture of the media are soil and compost with a ratio of 1:1.  The two ingredients are stirred to mix well.  then set aside first and prepare the seeds of greeting to be cuttings.

Another important aspect of laurel planting that needs to be considered is the issue of fertilization.  After giving fertilizer at the beginning of planting, then additional fertilizer is given at a distance of once a month.  The amount of fertilizer given is 1 teaspoon per stem of the bay plant.
